Ballet and beauty at it's best!

Hi Girlys!

Brand new look, for August to September! I have gone for a black and white theme, and I know it is summer but I really wanted something different. We also have a brand new slogan which is "ballet and beauty at it's best!" it was the first thing that came to me and I thought it was really catchy. I'm going to start doing some more dance related posts as well but keeping up with the beauty posts as well! Let me know what you think!

Barry M and Update!

Hi Girlys!

It's been ages since my last blog! I can't believe how long it has been, and I am truly sorry for all the time I have been away, I totally owe it to all of my gorgeous members. I've been really busy, but now I'm enjoying the summer holidays, well when i say summer it isn't very summery.

So this month I have been loving barry m nail polish, and at superdrug their doing a 2 for £4.99 deal on selected barry m nail polishes! Which is really good value, since each nail polish retails at £2.99.
So here's the two I picked up!

Name: Peach Melba 318
Review: I really love this colour, but you need to use two coats, to get a nice finish. The bottle is really nice, and a generous size! Love it!
Price: £2.99 orginally!

Name: Mushroom 310
Review: At first I wasn't too sure about this colour, it doesn't really suit my skin colour, as I'am pretty pale. However, it is really pretty, and only need one coat to look amazing. The bottle again is a very generous size.
Price: £2.99 orginally

I'd like to apologies in advance for the quality of the pictures, I was using my phone and it been a new phone, i thought the quality would have been a bit better, and is quick and easy. Can't wait to get back into blogging!

Update + Cath Kidston!

Hey Girls + Guys!

Sorry I haven't had a blog for ages! I truly am sorry about that I've been so, so, so busy! So this blog is just an update about what I've been doing. Basically last weekend I've been dancing and I did this really long walk, on saturday and camped then walked on sunday! So yeah, I've been busy, I also have been doing homework and dancing all night, and homework during in the week, so this is basically the only free time I have had all week. I have also started my GCSE's which is super scary! I'am doing cooking, geography and pe as my options.

So onto some more intresting stuff, I got my Cath Kidston catalogue and there is a sale! There is up to 50% off on products like: phone cases, camera cases, laundry items, clothing ect... Also there is £5 off fabric, which is great as my mum said she'd make me some cushion!

Sorry it's only a quick one!

OMG GUYS!

I'm so sorry i haven't done a blog in aggeeeesss!
Last weekend I went on english trip with school for 2 nights, and today I'm really not feeling well! But, you guys still deserve your blog, no matter how ill I am! So today I'm going to review the hollister items I have.
(I'm not bragging in any way, I just want to share what I have with you!)

Item 1: Hollister light pink flipflops
Price: £12
(I know the  price is a little exspensive but their really good quality!)
Review: Really recommended, great quality and always looks good. I would only recommend getting a darker shade of colour because my light pink ones have gone dirty.
(4 stars)

Item 2: Hollister navy blue polo
Price: £19
Review: Really good, nice to wear for casual. But the materail doesn't stretch at all so if you've got a pear shaped figure get the next size up so it's not too tight
(4 stars)

Item 3: Hollister navy blue skinny leg sweatpants
Price: not sure as an xmas gift  but guessing around £32
Review: Really good product! Great for lounge wear and sport! If you like them baggy get next size up, and it has really soft material.
(5 stars)

Item 4: Hollister cream vest top with cream flower on right hand strap
Price £18
Review: Really good top, nice for going out in and the flower really finish it off! It molds to the body so it is fairly tight it certain places
(5 star)

Item 5: Hollister hot pant shorts navy blue
Price: around £20
Review: Really great for wearing over bikini bottoms, but wouldn't wear on their own as really short. But other may disagree, it personal opinion, great beach and holiday wear
(4 star)

Item 6: Hollister Laguna Beach Spray
Price: £8 a bottle or £12 for two
Review:  Lovely, lovely smell and cheap for what it is. A lot in the bottle and great to freshen clothes up. Great for dancer and people who play sport to use after. It has fairly flowery smell but not over powering.
(5 star)

these where a few of my items I have bought from the shop, you can view all the items at www.hollister.com
which is great! Thank you for been  so paitent with this blog, and I love you all who have taken time to visit. I'll try post more often.

Sorry!

Hey Guys!

Sorry I haven't posted in ages, I've been so busy schools started! So as I treat I've made two new pages, and this blog post. I'd like to start off by saying I'm so sorry for not replying to any of your comments, my comments has gone weird I go to post the comment then it says need to sign in, I then sign in and it says I need to sign in again! So sorry again!

I'm really stuck on what to do this blog post about so it got be thinking about what to do. Then it came to me, I'd like to review a new cath kidston item, called the gadget case. This is what it looks like:

It is great quality, the outside is made of oil cloth, like a plastic materal. The floral design is gorgeous and the name to describe it on the Cath Kidston website "Electric Flowers". Inside is a white soft materal, it has padding so it's great to store your gadgets in and the padding is just in case it falls. There is also a pocket, I use this for my camera batteries, as I use it for my camera.

On the the outside there is a long white thin strap, which is great for when your site- seeing, so you can keep it out of the way. The strap can be taken off so you can store it in your bag! The materal is really good quality, and  the zip and inside has the cath kidston logo on it. The zip is extremly strong, the only downside is the white strap can easily get dirty, if you use it a lot. But it is extremly good quality, never the less. I'd rate this product ****1/2 (4 1/2 star)

Thank You Guys!

Diary of a Whimpy Kid 2 + Britains Got Talent + Old nail varnish!

Hey Guys

I'm so sorry I didnt make a blog yesteday I went to the cinema to see Diary of a Whimpy Kid 2 (Roderick rules!) with my friend it was soo good and extremly funny. I recommend it hugely to anybody who doesnt take stuff too seriously and loves a good comedy. It is also really relistic and stuff what could happen in real life! It's about the battle beetween the siblings which personally myself I can't relate to as I am an only child, but I liked it as I could see what it would be like if I had one! The kids who play the character are believe it or not just one year younger than me (13) it does look like a film for little kids but really its not, its so funny. Thats why I'd rate it ***** (5stars!)

Next to Britain's Got Talent, if you aren't British and would like to see the show just go on www.youtube.com and search Britain's Got Talent 2011 to see some of the acts! I must admit I'm loving this years Britain's Got Talent it's so entertaining and I've got to say I've got a soft spot for Angela and Teddy, aww bless them (Search on youtube!) ! But the acts what have gone through to the final are amazing! Now to Simon's BIG SUPRISE, what do you think it is hmm I'm not sure let me know by commenting!

So thought you girlys would love this one! By the way I got this off snog marry aviod so if you watch it you will already know about it! So your favourite nail varnish has gone all gloopy and crusty and has seen better day, all you need to do is add 1 DROP of nail varnish remover to your nail varnish, put the lid on, shake it.... and it's as good as new! By the way I've never tried this myself but on snog marry aviod it looked to have worked!

Hope you liked todays blog, as I keep mentioning don't forget I'm ambassador for www.eyeko.com and my ambassador code is E16202 recieve a free gift when you spend £15 or more with my code! Please have a look theres some lovely products, and dont forget to insert my ambassador code at  the checkout which again is E16202 . Thank You!

Simple Skin Care and Name that cat!

Hey Guys!

It's me again (the one who can't spell!)! Wow I can't believe the views and comments of the blog has gone up dramtically it the past 24 hours and I finally have my first THREE followers, thank you so much guys. And to say thank you so much too everybody who has viewed my blog, I've got a new competition which is called "name that cat!". Basically below I have include a picture of my cat which name begins with J thats the only clue I'm giving you! The winners blog will feature on all my posts for a whole 2 weeks!
Please comment with name suggestions.
Hint: Begins with a J

Okay next on todays blog is a review of simple skin care's spotless skin triple action face wash. It's such a great product and unlike other spot care products it doesnt burn your skin once you've put it on and  it basically feels like goo on  your face. It's also great for people with senstive skin! It's got no perfume or colour and has zinc PCA which absorbs excess oils on your face. The witch hazel tones and tightens pores to stop more dirt getting it! It retails at about £5 to £8 which I think is great considering what it contains and usually sensitive skin products are usually more than normal products, so its great! You can pick this product up from boots and superdrug and the simple online shop. The design on the packaging could be a little nicer but all in all a great product!

Great Product: **** (4star)

Thats all for now guys, thank you so much for you making my blog a sucess and also dont forget my eyeko ambassador code is E16202, read more on blog post www.eyeko.com

Whats in my dance bag

Hey Guys!

As I promised, I'm back with my whats in my dance post. I thought I'd make this post to help begineers or for anybody intrest know what a dancer or myself put in their dance bag and why. I'll try include links of places you can get the items from and the general price. Okay, so heres my dance bag

(I really don't know where or how much this cost as I got it for Christmas I'm guessing its around the £20 mark)

Okay lets start

  • The first thing I have is some capezio leather ballet shoes (I payed £7.95 for these)
  • Capezio tan foot undeez (These are basically underwear for you feet which help you turn, I bought these for £8)
  • My dance school leotard and wrap skirt (This is complusary for me but you can buy different styles from discount dance)
  • My dance schools jazz leotard
  • Some dance cycle shorts (I think they were about £12 pounds from the lady who runs the dance shop at my dance school)
  • Capezio split sole jazz shoes (I payed £14.95)
  • Some leg warmers (£2 but you can these from almost every dance shop)
  • Some ballet tights (£8 yes I know there expensive for tights but there seriously worth it!)
  • Hollister navy blue skinny tracksuit bottoms (£30 great for dancing, just make sure there not too tight)
  • Hollister spray (£8 or £12 for 2, defiently recommended especially after dance)
  • Spair pair of old ballet shoes (You can never have too many)
  • Capezio tap shoes (about £20 pounds anywhere, discount dance is a good one!)
  • Deodrant (Every dancer needs it!)
  • Notebook and pen (Just a small one just in case!)

Hi Guys

Hey Guys!

I'm so excited to be writing my first ever blog post! So yeah I thought I'd tell you a bit about myself. Ok, lets start with the basics my name is Holly  (Holly with a y) and I'm 14 years old, and I live in England. I'm also starting my GCSES soon which is super scary, but if any of you have any tips on revision or how to cram everything in, please comment and let me know. As you can guess by my name I'm a dancer. I do many styles of dance which are: ballet (hence the name), jazz, street, modern, freestyle, tap, musical theatre and rehersals ect.. *breathe* haha! Another thing you should know about me is I really can't spell! So all comments are welcome with spelling mistakes. Basically on the blog I'll be telling you all about me and suggesting fun things to do and loads of girly things. Thats all for now, stay tune for tommorows post which is "whats in my dance bag!"
